Claudia Grundke

Wieland Freund, born 1969 in Paderborn, is an author, critic, journalist and translator. He received the Bavarian Arts Promotion Prize for his first two children’s books “Lisa’s Book” (2003) and “Ghost Song” (2004). He lives with his family in Berlin. Beltz & Gelberg have published his books “Never wake a wood gnome!” and “Never dream of the wild hunt!”, the three volumes featuring “Törtel, the tortoise from McGrün” as well as “The improbable journey of Jonas Nichts”.
