Steven Uhly, born 1964 in Cologne, is of German-Bengali origins. He studied literature, heads an institute in Brazil, and translates poetry and prose from Spanish, Portuguese and English. His debut novel “My Life in Aspic” was published in 2010, and “Adam’s Flight”, winner of the Tukan Award, was released in 2011. “Lucky Guy” (2012) became a bestseller and was filmed for the ARD by Michael Verhoeven. His fourth novel “Kingdom of Twilight” was published in 2014.
