Per Leo


Per Leo, born in Erlangen in 1972, studied philosophy, modern and contemporary history, and Slavonic languages in Freiburg and Berlin. He now works in Berlin as a free-lance writer and casket maker. His dissertation on characterology and Nazi ideology (“Der Wille zum Wesen”) received the special prize of the Humboldt University in Berlin for research in the field of Judaism and Antisemitism. Per Leo was nominated for the Leipzig Book Fair Prize in 2014 for his family saga “Flut und Boden”.
