Patricia Hempel


Patricia Hempel, born in Berlin in 1983, studied ancient and early history before moving from Berlin to Hildesheim, and from archaeology to writing literature. There followed publications in magazines, journals, and anthologies, and in 2014 she was designated writer-in-residence by the city of Wolfsburg. Patricia Hempel now works as a free-lance journalist and writer in Berlin. “Metrofolklore” is her first novel.
