Christoph Scheuermann, born in 1977, has worked for the SPIEGEL since 2009, where he first worked as an editor for the Germany section writing about terrorists, Salafists, neo-Nazis and bankers. Since 2012 he has been the news magazine’s correspondent for Great Britain. Scheuermann studied political sciences, German studies and English studies in Cologne and Birmingham, is a graduate of the Henri Nannen Journalism School and scholarship recipient from the ifa Institute in Beirut. For his texts, he has been honored with the Axel Springer Award for Young Journalists and the Ernst Schneider Award.
