Anna Katharina Hahn, born in 1970, lives in Stuttgart. Her long-selling book “Shorter Days”, which has been translated into English and Finnish, was published in 2009. Her novel “On the Black Mountain” was on the shortlist for the Leipzig Book Fair Prize in 2012 and reached number 1 on the monthly list of best books issued by SWR (Southwest Broadcasting). Anna Katharina Hahn is considered one of the most important storytellers of her generation and has received multiple awards for her novels, including the Roswitha Award from the city of Gandersheim and the Heimito von Doderer Literature Award.
