Adriana Altaras


Adriana Altaras was born in Zagreb in 1960, lived in Italy from 1964, and later in Germany. She studied acting in Berlin and New York, played cinema and TV roles, and has been directing stage plays and opera since the nineties. She has won many awards, including the Bundesfilmpreis, the Theater Prize awarded by the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, and a Silver Bear for acting. Her bestseller “Titos Brille” was published in 2012, followed by her much-acclaimed second book “Doitscha” in 2014.
